State Hwy 61 in Minnesota

State Hwy 61 in North Minnesota offers breathtaking views of Lake Superior and is a must-see for anyone that loves the outdoors.
There are dozens of stops / pull-outs, State Parks and even a scenic route (Kind of hidden) which offers a lake-side drive. There are several small communities between Duluth and the Canadian Border as well.
The initial photo below show a gradual increase in the ruggedness while driving down the highway.
