Next stop in Florence County was LaSalle Falls, this one is a hike, roughly and hour of walking, one way and it would have been better if there were some better easy access to view points, but this one is not that great, Maybe if I had more time here, I could have found some better access points but as of now, I would have to say skip this one. I ended up with a large amount of tick friends and the views were not the best of the falls…

Hiking To The Falls…

The Falls…
The hiking trail is easy, not too much elevation change until you get to the falls, then there is a fairly big hill, very doable though.
I would recommend bear spray, you are quite a ways back in the woods on this one. I had a feeling something was watching me while moving through the area…
After further investigation and looking, turned out to be a mother deer and a fawn, cute!
Very thick vegetation throughout the hike makes it difficult to see anything on either side of you while you hike.
At the end of the trail, you are rewarded with a beautiful view of the Popple River in Florence County, I just wish the view of the falls was better.
