Progress is being made on the road re-construction project on Clay School Road, in the Township of Komensky, Which is where the East Arbutus Campground is located.
The road has been under construction since May of this year and there is a posted detour for all traffic (uvts & ATVs included) along County Hwy K in Jackson County. For those of you that know the area, It’s East of Hatfield, and is a major ohv route in the region.
The main Jackson County OHV Park’n Ride is located on Clay School Road as well as the East Arbutus Campground, which is a large ATV campground on the east side of Lake Arbutus In Hatfield, Wisconsin.
The entrance Road was badly deteriorated and reconstruction was definitely needed. Construction should be wrapping up this fall.
