“Trek The Mighty Mac” is a fundraiser event put together by the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau and probably one of the most unique UTV specific events around. Riders from across the Country show up to ride their rigs across the longest suspension bridge in this hemisphere! I personally saw license plates from California, Wyoming, and New York.
It’s a wonderful event and offers a unique way to see the bridge and the Straits of Mackinac. It’s great that the Municipalities, State of Michigan and clubs can all come together to make these types of events become reality.
The 2022 event was a wet one, rain moved in just before we were scheduled to leave Mackinaw City for St. Ignace. This didn’t put a damper on the mood though, everyone was enthusiastic about crossing this mighty bridge!
