Front Of The Museum.
The Wisconsin Canoe Hertiage Museum Is Located Just Off Corridor 39 In The City Of Spooner & Offers An Interesting Stop, I Spent Quite A Bit Of Time Learning About The Canoes In The Museum & In The Workshop.

Workshop Area.
My Tip For This Attraction… Go Through The Museum, Take Your Time, Lots Of Information. Towards The End Of The Museum Tour, The Workshop Is Open To Visitors, But Is Not Really Advertised. The Museum Worker Will Take You In The Workshop & Show You Their Tools & Provide Even More Details.

Beautiful, Handcrafted Canoes
The Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum Offers A Self-Guided Tour With Tons Of Great Information About Canoes That Have Been Recovered Throughout Wisconsin Either From Lakes Or Contributors Personal Collections.

The Bottom Canoe, Is The One I’m Referring Too.
This “Dugout” Canoe In Particular, Caught My Eye, Specifically The Details Surrounding The Canoe’s Location Of Discovery. The Canoe Was Found In A Pond In The Town Of Homestead In Florence County In Northern Wisconsin. On It’s Face, That Doesn’t Mean Much, But To Me, I Had Just Been In The Town Of Homestead, In Florence County, The Weekend Before. I Almost Couldn’t Believe It. This Sort Of Thing Happens To Me Constantly While On These Trips, I Don’t Know That These Are Coincidences Anymore, It Has Morphed Into Something More, To Me Anyway.
I Take It As Being On The Right Path, In Other Words, I’m Doing The Right Things… In My Mind. It’s Just Happening More & More, I Find It Interesting.

Conclusion…
The Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum Offers A Very Interesting Stop Along The Trails In Washburn County & You Should Expect To Use A Few Hours At The Museum, Looking About & Learning.
