Woodland Park Campground in Gran Marias, Michigan is a large campground with over 160 sites & offers a spectacular view of Lake Superior and a beautiful relaxing campground experience.
The campground does offer ohv access but there are no trails immediately nearby, though you are able to ride on the road routes to the Alger County ATV trails, such as the Danaher Plains ORV Trail to the south of town and east of town the Pine Ridge ORV Trail. Either trail offers under 50 miles of distance, once you get to the trails.
The Campground is large but sprawled out along the lakeshore, this is a very small town and quite for those looking for some R&R.
Attractions are close by such as the pictured rock national lakeshore, not accessible via ohv though.
Overall, a very nice place to stay either from camping or ohv, but with a real lack of trails in the immediate area, it’s hard to recommend this one to off-roaders.
