The Shrine Of Our Lady Of Guadeloupe Shrine In La Crosse, Wisconsin is not the type of stop I usually talk about in this community but Our Lady Of Guadalupe has become dear to my heart and to my faith. My faith is mine, I will not try to indoctrinate anyone here in the article, everyone has their own ways and lives, but my wish is for you to visit this beautiful shrine either in faith or seeking Jesus. I want to show you this amazing location because it has become a “shelter” in a world, seemingly gone crazy.

I find myself going to church more than I ever have in my life lately, maybe it’s because i’m older, wiser and seeker something higher? I’ don’t know, but I feel right when I do go. Not for anyone else but me, I don’t get into the cliques that draw a lot of people into the church. I’m usually at the back, but I’m content there.

The Church at Our Lady Of Guadeloupe is so beautiful, it seems to “puts you in your place”… meaning I feel so humbled in this church. I could never take the “Right” picture to show you this, it can only be experienced in-person. This is something beyond visual, I think, the beauty is so deep you feel it, somehow you feel, I suppose, the only way I can explain it is, “Love” in your heart. I can only think of one or two other places in my life that makes me feel this way. Just an overwhelming sense of self, of life, of Jesus and of what has been “given” for us.

I always seem to get overwhelmed, to the point of tears, during church services here, is it healing? I think so. Again, this has only ever happened at one other church (Holy Hill in Wisconsin), so it’s not like i’m a basket case or anything like that, LOL. It’s just a true connection of Jesus and I’m becoming more of a believer in the power of Church, I have always been on the fence about this because I think the church as a whole is not on the right path, but it’s not for me to judge. If only every church had this “feeling” this overwhelming sense of healing.

It’s so beautiful… “I could never do it justice”. I just feel that I needed to write this article, maybe someday to help someone that needs to find somewhere they can go to… to heal, to learn and to grow in faith.
